Very good looking man indeed (what surprised me...thanks Luke, is that I realized I'm actually taller than he is :-) (pet peeve of mine).
Honestly, in person the confidence was not there. When I looked at the images I wondered if perhaps I missed something when we met.

Thanks, very insightful comment. I used fill flash, but didn't account for our height differences/angle of flash.
Honestly, I only presented him with his images and didn't discuss the results of the shoot with him...he kept the same expression throughout, from the moment of the shoot up until cd presentation.

This is who he is, Isaac. Nothing is going to change that. You managed to capture that essence. Sharp, well-defined, excellent DOF. Slight shadow under his chin, but it does not detract from the powerful imagery. Does he like it?
