I hear you Isaac. My skills in PS were limited to cropping and brightness adjustments for a very long time. :) I recommend 2 books (out of the MANY I've bought). 1) "The Photoshop Book for Digital Photographers" by Scott Kelby (or any book by him). 2)"50 Fast Photoshop (version # here) Tips". The 2nd book includes a CD with all the images they reference so you can practice on the same photo to see the results - VERY helpful to learn the technique in my opinion. If nothing else - check them out at the library. I've learned a lot from both books.

Very Nice Cheryl,
I thought about cloning out the hat, but my ps skills are even more limited than my camera skills :-). I'm only an egg still.

That is good - I did a little mock-up cloning out the hat. Do you use Photoshop?

Cheryl,
Thank you so much, you've helped me to see this better (alibeit probably not as good as I want to, but...). How about, like this???

This is a sweet shot. The only nit-pick I have is the flash was a bit much on that pure white and creating a shadow cast. I would think this is gorgeous in B&W also. I really like how her face is looking down like that.
