About Taken in early 1980's. Sorry for small image: might repost again soon.
Please note the shapely blonde and the Dark clouds. Actually, it was very humid and hot which always leads to a storm in my area in late afternoon. SEE! GIRLS WERE BEAUTIFUL IN 1980'S AND 70'S.

The tones, the lighting, the converging lines of clouds against the horizon, the overall balance.....it's all there! This is a very strong shot, Chuck....and I can't think of anyone more deserving of Staff Choice! Congrats! Now, as for the women...seems to me that they are beautiful EVERY decade. Always have been....always will be.

...congrats on the staff choice - I always enjoy your images and your bits of photo/artists lore - --- I have to agree about the women in the 70's - I married one and am still with her - K

Hi Chuck my friend.. finally I see a BIG Staff Choice in your fantastic frame!
the moment is so hard.. so adrenaline..
but also I like it the light in the close-up and the coontrast with the clouds!
the human presence is a great touch!
cheers

I do agree that girls were beautiful back then.
I was there at that time:))
I love the way you've placed your camera.
The skies seem to blend with the airplane and the tones are simply gorgeous.
