Reminds me of the Talking Heads song "Nothing but Flowers" - "There was a shopping mall, now it's all covered with flowers..." If only they would clear the waste away and let nature take it back.
You make a great point with this. There are far too many unused plazas around for us to building new ones constantly! I like the "greyness" of the shot and the looming clouds, it adds well to the mood. One suggestion I have is to maybe capture less of the side of the building and more of the expanse of the empty parting lot. Well done.
