I'm so glad you picked this triptych out for special notice, Gabriela. It's a favourite spot of mine. While we were living nearby I used to photograph it quite often. The old man himself had a wonderful face and a mane of white hair. I was working up to a portrait of him when we moved away...

This is a wonderful image, filled with many interesting elements to study..this signmaker literally makes good use of his real estate here...I like the angle and the composition as well, thanks for another look into Japan..Do you write in Japanese as well...to my eye even the language is a work of art...:):)Linda
