About My wife has many varieties of hosta but this is one of her favorites. She tells me it's called Sagae. It is getting very large - I sure hope it doesn't get hostile. There's nothing worse than a hostile hosta :-).

Taken with the little Sony U20. Actual exposure info from EXIF: 1/125 at f/3.2

I thought mandatory poppy macro was fantastic, this shot far exceeds it. the curvilinear swirls of the hosta veins are stunning in this photo

Astronomers have been looking for a black hole near the earth for some time but I think they may have been looking in the wrong place! It looks like you could lose a car down there! ;-)
Great shot Jum... good detail (considering), excellent colours and well composed...

I have a wide variety of hostas. I love some of them like this one for the foliage and others for their enormous size and beautiful big white flowers. They are a wonderful addition of any landscape.

Good shot. I love the macro quality of the composition.

Thank you for leaving a comment on "Hidden Pool". Very much appreciated. Regards, Andree

Absolutely and this one looks like it is coming to get you LOL Really like the angle you used to get it coming right out of the screen and great colours too. The curves and composition is just excellent - like it a lot - but as I said do watch out I think it might be hostile - that plant I met on Saturday certainly was
