Most excellent, Jim. Beautiful view and well done. Your light is just perfect and the refelction is top notch. I'm going to have to find out some more about this workshop... I'd love to consider doing it.

I don't know how I missed this shot from you; probably on travel. This is excellent! I am from AZ and this is one shot that I've never gotten. I have been to Sedona many times and never gotten to this spot. Your shot makes me want to get there all the more...great work!

Great contrasting colours in this photograph and I like the reflections.
Perhaps a lowere shooting position would have put more of the rock in the water's reflection. Nevertheless a great image, well done Jim

Hmmm... too centered? I'd choose one version (the true or the reflection) and emphasize that with a crop of the other. It's a tough choice becauuse I like both sides. Great photo regardless.

Excellent, excellent shot. Nice saturated colors, very pretty reflections. The tree is a great element but perhaps encroaches on the rock too much. A couple of steps to the right might do it...but then the reflection may not work as well.
I hope you stayed and played with the reflections a bunch more. Can't go wrong in Sedona, that's for sure!

Hi Jim,
Just looking through your portfolio...this one is a good one. I have one suggestion though. I think that if you crop the top of your shot so that the tip of the tree is clipped slightly it will then not be competing visually with the tops of the rock pinnacles and thus improving the impact of your overall shot. Maybe a little cropping from the left as well as the bottom to balance it out and maintain some tension. This drives your eye a little more towards the focal point with less distraction from the surrounding beauty.

Great Shot Jim! I really like how your eye is drawn along the rocks in the water up to the formations on the horizon. Also that bent tree on the right is really interesting.

i absolutely love your ratio of sky to land. as much as i like the richness of the blue sky the lighting on the beautiful landscape is just so much more pleasent to look at and i'm glad you chose the composition that you did. the reflections in the water are also amazing and add that extra "zing" to the photograph. good work on the exposure aswell. by far my favorite of all your photos. great job Jim. 7/7

I think that it is an excellent compositionn Jim. I like most the reflected tree that have behind the special light of the sunset. I hope to see more pictures of the Grand Canyon!
