About	shot this evening while out walking - perfect for me from the point of view because the subject was not posing and the shot itself required absolutley no PS at all! This is a great portait because the sun was low and brought up the background really well. Also the face was lit from the sun bouncing off the river. I set the aperture wide open to throw the background foliage out keep the attention well and truly on the subject, Aoife.

Love this shot, colours and lighting are great. I thought though that maybe a bit of gradual burning on the foliage to the right might be nice, to darken it and increase the importance of the model in the image. Nothing you can't do in a dark room!

You're right. It is a great portrait. I love the space to the right, giving a real sense of a world beyond the subject. The dark glasses add a certain mystique, but also provide another dimenson - the reflection. You chose the right frame for this. Great stuff!
