I get stuck for new things to say to some of the photographers on this site...but I find it difficult how anybody forgets how to spell 'awful' when it comes to my work. They always seem to get the spelling wrong..LOL!!

I feel a bit embarassed actually... I meant to comment on yours earlier but got sidetracked and so would have told you direct rather than you get it through Kel - I know you are close so I should have realised and not allowed myself to get sidetracked. I really hope you two do go on to great things as I am constantly amazed by what you both produce. I've not commented on yours as much lately as I've run out of things to say!!! You can only say 'brilliant', 'superb', 'wonderful' etc so many times!!!

Ahhh, yes, you have some very good points. But if this image was to be a realism image then yes, those points would be very worthwhile. But as this is an image where the female is looking back in the past, I had the horizon tilted to draw the attention to awaysome. Also the moon in one image and the sun in the other represents to different events in time. If that makes sense. I like the fact that you went to the trouble to point this out...and these are all things that I certainly will keep in consideration with future images. Thankyou so much Steve.

Another beautiful - and excellently put together piece. Your PS works is fantastic.
Being totally honest (which you no dounbt know by now that I am...) there are just a couple of things that I think could be different however.... If the horizon line was horizontal - I think the image would be brought together a little closer - as it would be impossible to tell that the coastline does not extend all the way to the right.
This, "almost" happens now - the coastline extend behind the fg subject. Which brings me to the second point. I find the two 'suns' (maybe one is a moon?) A tiny bit distracting - and - for me - takes away some of the realism.
Please don't think I dislike this picture Judi - quite the opposite in fact - which is why I feel motivated to write :) To me - I would rather one well considered comment with a point behind it than twenty "great shot" type ones.
Having said all that - I really love the colours and tones - and the clock works really well. There is a great sense of very strong emotion - heightened immensely by your choice of verse to go along with it.

Awwww...I know that last weeks was Digital Photographer Issue 7. It has a car on the front page. They stuffed up the printing and cropped one of the images nearly in half...grrr...right down Ricco's face...hmmm!! But at least they gave me two pages.

This, imho, is one of your best collages, dear Judi. The distress I seem to see on the main figure's face mirrors the distress and despair of your poem.
