I think the image is very beautiful. The sky bothers me a little...maybe either a deeper colour or total replacement. But definitely one worth working on. Thakyou so much Manu for your comment on my image and welcome back to Usefilm.

A very formalistic landscape! well balanced in masses and tones. I don't khow what could you do more :-) All planes are perfectly sharpness and the work in post (if present) have not destroyed informations. i like very muche the water surface... Another superb work, Manu! Marco

A work in progress which to me seems quite complete. If it were mine what might have I done differently?
I know I should comment on the image as you have presented it to us but what strikes me about this photograph is the sky. I think I would have been tempted to make this more of a feature and emphasize it's dominate nature. Making the landscape sit lower in the frame which would have meant removing the foreground that you have included but I think the final result could have underlined our insignificance in nature.
Just a thought.

Beautiful .. i think the sky + the awesome weird light on the landscape are making the key elements in this shot ! Peter

Manu, I like it very much. I actually grew up not so far from here so the landscape/seascape resonates with me. Lots of elements playing together and it works. Erik

Hi Manu, Very interesting combination of an in essence tranquil and picturesque scene and the ominous and grim tones.
I see what you mean, and I have to agree it's a work in progress. With a bit of maksing and tweaking of the tonal range, I think the treeline in the background could be made a more integral part, as it seems a bit distanced from the rest of the photo.
Cheers,
Hugo

I think if you get closer to the shore and get down low with a dusk or dawn light then you are onto a winner. By the way I think every shot is a work in progress - its a philosophy not a process!
