Yeah, Rina...looked a little empty in the foreground so decided to leave the poo in...cheers for commenting so far..

Fantastic leading lines Manu. Moody ambience. Although an uncluttered image, I seem to discover new elements each time I look at it. From the boats in the far distance right down to the poop on the deck ;) I could definitely linger here awhile...

Beautiful composition, Manu, and the limited palette and tone work very, very well. Very nice!

Amazing detail through-out Manu!
I've been there a couple of times. Once when 5 years old and once when 24.

Manu,

Nice perspective of the pier --- also a really good title. What I like about the photo is the emptyness of it....and the dark clouds...A great capture.

Best Wishes,
Chuck

I like the hue, colour and most of all - the minimalsim caused of the emptiness.

Cheers for commenting on the wood result...I'm pretty chuffed myself as it has done what I wanted it to do..for once

On second thought, have you considered making it a black and white?

Wow, very nice work...the detail in the wood is awesome, and the color is very old, and rustic feeling.

Thanks for commenting, Roger...great to hear from you again. With regards to the zoom even at 18mm digital, I still want more...like a 10mm. Maybe one day

Cheers

It has a rather grim look out of season... but I really like this shot, with its wide angle, limited colour palette, unusual composition and very strong sense of perspective. Great use of the wide-angle end of your zoom!

A beautiful image Manu.

I love the tones. The emptiness gives it a sad feel which is not a bad thing. I love images that convey some sort of emotion and for me this does. Nice work.
