About In Texas when the Bluebonnets bloom in the spring, it is a must that every family go out to their nearest roadside and pose their kids in the ditches. Be it a lone country road or an Interstate highway, it's always something to see. Stop in the middle of the road and put your family on the shoulder. I've always threatened my kids that I was going to do it one of these days but we just never did (much to their pleasure).

But since I am different, I DID pose my "favorite son" Diablo along a California highway in the autumn.

My kids will probably never forgive me.

Thank you for the suggestion, Lori. Last night I tried it to see if it would make a difference. Knowing Diablo, he wouldn't stand still for long once he got wind of what I was going to do. So I put him on his leash and tied him to my desk. I wasn't sure exactly what to use to accomplish this so I figured peroxide usually lightens things up. He wasn't very happy with me. And it didn't seem to work, either. His eyes are still dark brown. I'm thinking of trying Clorox next but right now he's very hard to catch.

:))

Very nice Dave,
what a beautiful dog. Yes, kids do cringe at the strange things we do when possessed by a camera!

Good job,

Lori :)

ps...could I make just one suggestion? (thanks, I knew you say it's OK)
I'd lighten up the dog's eye just a bit...
