Hi, Wayne. I appreciate your dropping by. I didn't realise the "conversation" I commented on was part of such a lengthy series. Cool idea, and obviously attracting quite a lot of interest. The one I saw was thrown up by Usefilm's "Needs a comment" function. Sometimes that works very well, introducing me to people whose work I might not have otherwise spotted.

Thanks, John. I think they would also be quite suitable for a rectangular fisheye image, as those shapes could be distorted without it showing!

Here's one that I missed the first time. This has a good leading line into the picture (and down the path). You seem to find a lot of places in a crowded land that are peaceful and without a lot of people. Quite a contrast to the commuter train people pictures!

Bertram, I think it's just the light on the leaves. I used less sharpening than usual on this one and then throttled back to 67% of the effect at that (reduced) level. I was aware of how the grass looked but it's in the original image. I can send you a completely unsharpened image if you are interested. (It's a VERY sharp lens!)

It's nicely composed and the fine details of the branches come out very well too, nevertheless one has the impression of a little bit too much sharpening ? I mean this kind of highlight effect on the grass, which appears sometimes if you turn the sharpening button a decisive bit to far. Maybe you needed this sharpness to get the little branches as clear as the look here ?

Very good! The composition is wonderful, with the path acting as a lead. Those trees are twisted into some interesting shapes. Colors and details are great.

A picture of two halves, Roger. I like the twisty tree trunks! Best regards, Chris
