Roger, I really think you should take and post more BW people shots. You have the ability to get close to the subjects, and when you combine this with the documentary value of illustrating life in what for me is an exotic country, I can't help but find the resulting photographs of great interest.
Here I think it would be nice to see the client's face as well as the hairdresser's. Perhaps the mirror could be used to this effect - the hairdresser's face would be turned towards the camera in the real world, and the client's in the reflected world. For a bit of fun, you could also include yourself in the photo!
