Yes, Bertram. They have recently increased the resolution to 1232 x 1848 pixels, and I have the young manageress trained now so that she uses less sharpening and less fierce auto-colour balancing. I do the final tweaking myself. It's a good compromise, because although I might get marginally better scans myself, they take too long for it to be worthwhile...

wow.. where did all these new photos come from.. I thought i just checked your photos haha.. I will have to get a fisheye because I am always attracted to fisheye images.. this photo demonstrates the perfect use for the lens... love how the steps dominate the foreground... excellent work Roger

wooooh nearly fell down those stairs !! when I look at this I feel very disorientated, the stairs just 'feel' very strange.

I'm glad you told me the stairs are not curved because I wa beginning to get some vertigo. I think I like the former one better, just because it has more interest value for me. Maybe the inclusion of a person would add interest for me. Great single-point perspective!
