Love this composition and the color, especially the red bridge which pulls you in. I'm just wonder what it would look like if you took a few steps to the right. It's nothing negative. Good job Keep up the good work Kevin

Wonderful shot, Roger. I'm with you on the light coming through the trees and also falling on the wooden fence on right of the path. I agree with Graham about the red on the bridge pulling one right to the center of this photo. Keep exercising those knees. :-) Jimmy

I think I prefer this colour version as the red pulls the eye right into the picture. It also tones well with the grey and green of the Ash trees. Composition like the black and white version is excellent, although I think I prefer this one with less steps. Slightly too light for me I think at the top left.

This is an excellent tight landscape shot Roger.
The light is excellent and the composition of this shot is just about perfect. The Portrait composition gives a real feeling of height to the trees.
It takes on a real "this is the real Japan" without being cliched. I think that this is one of your best shots, if not the best shot that I have seen from you so far.
