Hi Tom - sure thing on the extraterrestial bugs, just let me know what species you need. On second thought, maybe the dyes are better for that purpose, see here http://www.usefilm.com/image/409273.html or there http://www.usefilm.com/image/328144.html :-)

I'm going to start hunting down interesting pieces of glass and mail them to you... these are just way too cool. This one grabbed my attention the most, with its deep lines and the CURVE. Really nice use of space within the frame.. it pulls my eye in and out and around with ease.

Hi Stefan,

nice microscopic look of a vein (my guess ;-)

Hello Fabio - "singularity" came my mind as a possible title for this one :-)

Hi again Tom - I project onto a white screen. What you see is pretty much what the negative looks like. I just scan it as if it was positive film, but in essence you are correct. Sometimes I project onto film or paper instead - there are examples in my portfolio here on usefilm.

That's incredible Stefan. So original, as is the other work in your portfolio. What did you project the refractions on to? And was it then inverted into a negative?
Regards,
Tom

Hi Tom - glad you like it. It is a photo of a projection of the refractions cast by a narrow beam of light striking a funnily shaped piece of glass.

Man, I love stuff like this.
Really beautiful.
How did you do it Stefan? What is it?
Regards,
Tom
