Hello Daniel,
great shot and great idea, simple but the "monochrome" effect is perfect.
Doesn't matter the DOF!
My only suggestion is to take more control on the oblique lines. The door on the back ground in not perpendicular so you could fix with PS (if available), and in the meantime delete the switch on the wall... see my example ;-)
