Nancy, from the thumbprint this could have been a side view of a reptile's head and eye! :-)
Well spotted - and I am assuming you put the shells in the hole? - and captured beautifully. Strong contrast between the old and beaten wood, against that of the fragile shells.
I would love to see the original :-) Yeah, I am that curious :-))
