hello Nancy...
one beautiful composition particular for the tight cut... you were much neighbor, but IMHO, I would have taken more than cut the beacon... would have enlivened little more a photo. and then with one seen the entirety wider he would have been "of impact". you have used a great DOF and therefore she would have given the idea of the great depth of the space and the use of the beacon.
TO MAKE The GUARD And TO HELP. you have of the beautiful and natural colors much of a perfect light that you have used in perfect way! the reflection of the sun in the glasses is fantastic, the light of sunrise or the sunset? also the seagull is perfect creates dynamism to the photo.
the photo like to a lot to me... with little manipulation and perfect balance of the colors and the sharpness...
