Light/darkness... I'm looking at your version and Robs... Actually, on my screen, they are both good and I see all details on both. Yours is of course darker, but not to dark at all. Although I don't find Robs version to light either, I can see all details there too. But it might be a little pink cast on his.
I prefer your version, but if it was converted to black and white I think Robs version would give best light.

High Elena, I can assure you that on my calibrated screen my version is almost perfect. So you need to calibrate your screen which is easy to do. If you use Photoshop software it should be easy to do.
Select Start, settings, control panel. You will see icons. Double click on Adobe Gamma and follow the instruction for adjusting your monitor. Success. Let me know if you succeed.

Thank you, Rob, I understude what you did, but on MY SCREEN yours variant looks very-very light with no details. Maybe my problem with a screen now, I did change brightness and contrast not so long time ago, and maybe did it wrong. Please,is somebody can tell me - is my last photos really too dark?

A marvelous photo and an expression of innocence by the girl. The focus is correct but the lighting could be improved on the right side of her face. Just use contrat and brighten and see what you get. Good work Elena.
