Hi Hugo, thanks for your comment, after one day I am still very happy with my new toy:) I was considering buying a Canon A70 or A80 but when I could get this Olympus for a few euros more, I could not resist... What I like best is that it is very ergonomic (indeed, except for the on/off switch...), it has complete manual control, and not through a menu but through real buttons. Its appearance is very solid (indeed, except for the grinding noise of the zoom motor...). And then there is the f/1.8 lens, the rotating LCD, use of AA batteries, and so on... Its not a digital SLR (as a Minolta follower I still have to wait for that...) and you really have to get used to composing a shot through the LCD, as you said. But my first impression is very good!
