On location w/LOH, thanks guys. He has a story that would move you -- his bike and his country are supreme. He embodies Americana - Thanks for moving me to share your story...
I love the sense of intimacy, Cindi. And the feeling that he is not alone, but among friends. The Comradery is there without seeing the rest.
There is no issue of sharpness for me - it appears you have zoomed in on the tatoo - the face is soft because he is talking to a friend. It is more cinematic than frozen in time.
I just wonder if it is in the right project - I thing Perspective refers more to graphics and lines - but maybe not - it is a valuable "perspective" on life as we live it.
Hi Cindi, Perfect candid shot, and the framing by the out of focus metal steer of the bike and the obscured background is excellent. What puzzles me is what caused the softness and the blur in the veteran. With that lens, an 1/125' shutterspeed should be well in focus shot hand-held?
As for the composition, I might have considered cropping off the windscreen of the bike, as it is a tad distracting, and not a vital element.
Candids are always difficult -- especially of bikers! -- this is a good catch -- especially withthe flag waving and the whole tone of masculinity and past suffering -- Good job, Cindi!
