It was really nice of that cat to come by for you. It makes the scene more interesting. Nice Find.

Tim the siding almost seems over smoothed - it is not necessarily bad if you intend it - I am working on a series where I unsharpen and smooth for effect but it is noticeable and I don't know if you intended it...the cat is a wonderful vivid orange and he definitely adds a bit of a smile to the scene...

portrait of a cat? :)) I think that composition is very good, simple and strong, and I like colours too.

The exposure and sharpness on this are quite well done, however the composition is awkward. The door is too centered, and the cat is leading out of the frame. There's a lot of possibilities here, I would suggest if you can go back to this location try some shots of that doorway and the grass on a bright overcast day, bring out the saturation a bit. Maybe bait in that cat with a bit of food or catnip, the orange colour of its fur makes a nice contrast.

The cat makes this shot.... without the cat it would have been just another shot... technically well done but uninteresting.
