What a great shot, wonderful details and colours, the 35mm Skopar is a fine lens and I have doubts if a Ultron could do the same. I still enjoy this voyage through Japan with you !

Very good again and very masterly processed for a dark and gloomy place. Maybe even a tad less brightness. Regards, Rob.

The craftsman who works in this room would have been an ideal primary subject, but he exited as we entered, so I lost that chance... Anyway, he looked so cross and unhappy (and didn't even reply to our greetings) that I fear he would have been uncooperative about photographs.

Hi Roger, The low camera position is a very good choice, it creates "head room" under the low ceiling... Nice lineplay and perspective, and the tones are fabulous. Maybe an obvious primary subject in it would create a bit more tension, but I like this kind of reportive shots. It captures the natural state and atmosphere of the scene very well (i think...;o)
Cheers,
Hugo

Excellent result, Roger. The colour and detail are really good and, once again, there is much to catch the eye. Kind regards, Chris

This is really good, hard to believe it was taken in a dark room. Great
