I was walking past a golf course the other day when I saw these guys through a chain link fence. Having seen a number of horizontally formatted pictures lately that I admire, I thought I'd give it a try.
I LOVE THIS!!! You go, no you, no, no, no, I insist you go... Actually is that your ball or mine... How did you chip it that close! I know one critic wanted more action but I think this is great just the way it is as I can totally realate!!
Don't get me wrong, I love my little Nikon digital. It's great for macros, but hopeless for action shots.
With a shutter lag of about 1/2 a second (that's about two hours in press the shutter and wait for something to happen time) I have pretty much given up trying to capture anything that actually moves. Lucky for me, these guys didn't fall into that category.
Actually, after they took their positions behind their respective balls, about ten minutes passed without anything else happening. They just sort of stood there looking at each other. The suspense was killing me. Feeling an uneasy sense of boredom setting in, I snapped this picture and continued on my way. Now they will be forever frozen in time on the World Wide Web. Tea break? Good idea.
Are they having a tea break? They look a little lost - seriously John, a good idea and nicely cropped - do you think we could prod them into a bit of action?? That would add a bit of zing to the pic. and I think would have made it a lot more interesting. Had a good chuckle over your comments on the House for Sale pic! Keep shooting.
