About While traveling on RT 87 near Glens Falls NY I spotted this wonderful situation. This is a multiple exposure of 9 handheld panning up...

Thanks Tim. It is indeed 9 handheld exposures on one piece of film. I very carefully moved the cameara up over a very short distance, maybe 1/2 to 1 inch. If you look closely you will see.

Nicely seen and captured, John, though I don't understand the multiple exposure part. There should be so much more movement with nine separate pans. Regardless, I like this one very much. To my favorites to see again!

Thanks John I've achieved my goal if that is how you feel! I was after a more painterly or artistic feeling.

Very nice effect. More like a colour pencil drawing than a photo.

I just got a camera that is capable of doing multiple exposures... I am hoping that mine come out half as good as this! Gorgeous painterly image... the colours are both vibrant and diffused at the same time. I like the inclusion of the trees in the bg... the white adds just a little more interest to the whole scene.

I like this one very much, I saw a similar photograph in a Brittish photography magazine, and I am planning on trying something like this too. I was just wondering, if you shoot 9 times, and all of them handheld, don't you move too much then? Well, apparently you don't looking at your picture, but I was wondering about that. Did you lean against your car or something?
