Thanks Mary Sue! I realize I've not been here much, I just had to much to do and had to cut back on something. I've posted one today just for you and Linn... :)

John, thanks so much for your recent comment on my abstract. I've missed your work and wish you would post some more here.
This particular shot...how did I miss this the when it was first posted?!? I cannot tell you how long I've looked for the perfect lone tree. There is something so compelling about that imagery.
I like how you framed this and how the fog and light work together to create a glow. This image conveys a certain melancholy. You did a terrific job, as always.
And, if I forgot to mention it, POST AGAIN!!
:)

So simple, yet so elegant. I love the overall mood of the image. The tree may be a little too large in the frame for me (altho well placed IN the frame), but overall it works well. I also like the fog and how it diffused the sun. Nice tones - in camera or in PS? Iether way, it's a great shot.

I love these kind of shots (as you can see from my last two uploads. :-) The lighting is magical. I also love the graduated layers of color. Very pretty!

Thanks Linn. I've been busy trying to save my business... Ugh... the good news is I think after a big blessing that just happened I will be able to move forward! I have been spending a lot of time with my photography and will start teaching workshops this year... Not as much time for Usefilm...

Fabulously misty, soft and a touch of loneliness. I like the soft tones with the tree being a soft silhouette.
Very beautiful John, and great to see you post again!

John, This is very effective thanks to its simplicity. Nicely captured and smotth toning makes for a great shot. You should try some more like this! Best regards, Patrick

Perfect exposure which renders the mist very good.. not easy to do when the sun starts breaking through .. surely like your spacy framing too ! Peter

Hmmm, cold, moody, guess that's what I feel when I saw this picture. The object has been captured well, I mean, one lonely tree, isolated from their friends, in a hazy, foggy, morning... should be feeling cold and moody though... Interesting picture John, and captured very well to show the expressions. Beautiful!
