Mike, again I'm clicking in to this wonderful shot, just to say that I got your post. Your text made me so sad, that life can be so tough. I don't really know what to say... except from that you should try and leave all bad things behind and look at the good parts of life. But you seem to do that! :-)
So nice, original and really interesting shot! I especially enjoy these wonderful colours and composition! Well done, Mike!
Ps. I just read your comment under my "Story about Niki" shot. I don't really know what to say... But you know... somehow I feel that we should never judge anyone if we haven't walked 10 miles in their shoes. That's what I thought of when I read about your mother. It's so easy to say or feel that someone is "bad", but we never know why the person did what he/she did. (And I guess... this is what I should feel about Niki's father then... hm... okay, I'll try). I'm sure your mother is a great person, maybe things just went very wrong, for reasons we don't have a clue why.
I think it was bad to not tell you until you were 14, but then... I'm sure that they felt that they did the right thing by not tell. Things like this are really so hard to have an opinion about. But you seem to be a happy and nice person with good personality, so you are probably surrounded with a great family. Biological or not.
