Dear Armando,
I guess this cat is still the less endangered cat species in South America, it's protected and in danger but still let's say common and has the largest chances to survive... The poorest are those species who are victims not only of people greedy for their furs but also deforestation. And this one can live well on grasslands and so... Still, has to be protected

It appears in your description that unfortunately there is no hope for this species of cat to live in its habitat. I understand dear Ania.
I hate the biped called human that in many years destroyed and is still destroying the nature.

This cat will spend his life in zoo, if he was born captive he even wouldn't be able to survive in nature without a help of humans..
Unfortunately people destroyed the nature and its inhabitants so much that zoos seem to be a chance to survive for some species..
