Barry, Just a thought about "how to improve sharpness when your on f8 and a tripod". Why dont you simply try moving further away. Yes I know from a purist point of view it is great to compose "in camera" but with close up work like this (and not knowing your camera) I would move out with the camera- even though you will get some junk in the view finder - you have to train yourself to see the final result - not what is in the viewfinder. Later of course you crop to what your vision was. Let me know what happens please . david T

Dizzying in scope, amazingly well seen, but must agree with others -- those lines seem to demand sharp DOF.

It is rather hard to choose a favourite image from your portfolio you have a lot of very good abstracts the marbles and shodows are really nice.I chose this one because I like the colour line and texture of the image nice shoot and cheers.

Tremendous abstract! It's a real treat for my eyes. The lines are somewhat hypnotic. You have a great eye for composition and color.

I had my camera set to f/8 the smallest aperture on may camera. And I had it on a tripod.I know that it's unsharp. Any suggestions on how to make it sharper on a reshoot? Thamks!

Are you going to do SCSI next :-} I suppose the problem being this close is DOF. Still nice work, as usual

nice abstract, good idea. but to be honest, i wish i would have been a bit sharper. i wonder why you didn't put it in the lines-photoproject. i think it would fit overthere... ;-)

Oh God, Barry. The other day I went through your entire portfolio again in order to choose one favorite. I was not able to decide wich one. Now get me even more confused. So great, my friend. Marilia
