About OK, I went off the deep end tonight. No fog, no stars, no gloom of night. Just a challenge to see how extreme I can be.

Thank you so much John. It was way out of my league. I just kept tweakin' the photo until it said Stop! ...............so I did. I was happy with the result.

I made a mistake in my post above on the first line.

"I have an old version, not sure what it's called. colors. "

The last word "colors" was not supposed to be there.

By the way, this is just a kid twirling a sparkler on the 4th of July.

I have an old version, not sure what it's called. colors.
First, I used IrfanView's program to make it into a negative, then PS tools were
Image> Adjust>
Levels
Color balance
Hue/Saturation
Curves
.........and not in any specific order. I also used each tool more than once. I kept messing until it looked like this. I could never duplicate it because I had no idea what I was doing.
I also used Neatimage a couple of times during the process.
You can tell form my other photos, this is way out of line for my style.... kinda fun tho.

Here is the image in it's original size and form after being turned into a negative.

Nice abstract.
I just started "studying" Photo shop, and was curious have you used any of the tools from it? It resembles to a very nice paint. :)

Good Luck,
