I remember a shot from here by you a year ago or so. and this one is equally wonderful. Sorry i have been so busy moving once again to another part of canada and traveling that I haven't had much time to check out your images on usefilm. turns out I won't be in my new apartment for long before I am jetting off to the eastern sea board (New London,CT) near you in mid April. I am sailing on the tall ship USCG Eagle from there to Spain writing for the photo software company i have a contract with. Then a week in Spain fooling around and looking for neat things to see. Txules, wrote me back from some of my inquiries and made some excellent suggestions. Love this part of Usefilm! Hope you are all well, and I wish I had time to stop by for a coffee. Maybe next time. I may be heading to NY this summer...I will let you know! Cheers mate,

Dear friend, you have gone too far with your photography and reached a stage where I can not stop my self enjoying your posts.

oh no no, they are very real... I sure use Photoshop a lot, but usually for dodge/burn, crop, straighten, b/w conversion, toning and vignetting. This would be a *major* digital manipulation and I am not too much in favour of those. Typically.

Yes Gary, this is the way I saw it. This photo has very little post work .. very minimal dodging and that border, that's it ! I am glad you like it as it is..

You could have done a number of PS things with this shot, including boosting the contrast, or the red channel and all would have worked well, I think. But this is your vision of the scene. Composition is good and I like the sense of anonymity, the idea of capturing an image where most of the people have their backs to you and you can't be seen either.
