About This is the shadows across a snow covered access road to where I am working. I liked the abstract shapes and colors, hope you do too!

Thanks Arian, the plowed road has banks that are wave like a meter high. I noticed the wave shape when I was processing this. When I shot it I did not know if the shapes would show in the low light.
I laughed when I saw that you were thinking as I had about them. Thanks my friend, trying to keep it interesting!
Be well,
Stan

Hi Pam, thanks for the kind words my friend. Just playing with what is around me, I find some things that I play with and then it just works. These shadows were cast across a snowy road on my way in to work. Shot through the windshield with a telephoto necked down to 70mm. Glad that you were seeing what I was trying to convey.

I did something similar here where I chose to shoot in my camera's so-called tungsten mode:

Canon Raw in a Rebel. I opened it in RAW and adjusted the white balance as shot 6250 to 5050. The original was 6250 Tint +5, Shadows +5, Brightness 50 Contrast +25, Saturation 0 . Here is the original. I see what you a are saying about the reverse cyan. Snow has some blue in it as it is and the shadows really magnified that. I have been finding some adjustments make a big difference without doing major editing. I use levels a lot as well. The mid tones can really change for some dramatic colors. Thanks for the interest and keep shooting!

Yeah, sort of like a reverse cyanotype. I'd be curious to see the original. You shot in some raw format?

Thanks Ania, it was blue after I did a White Balance adjustment. I thought the shapes and background would work with this adjustment. Sometimes the images take on a life of their own.

Thanks James, actually I only changed the color temp of the white balance on this, did not do any saturation on color changes. Thanks for asking, hope you liked it.
