Hi Harry, I am sure they would give it a try. Do not know if Martin wants to be saved by them. Headed for the last day on the roof. Be well, Stan

Thanks Keith, they definitely work. Not sure how much power each one is capable of producing. The wind was blowing around 25mph when I went by and all were turning. They have a gear box to keep the speed controlled when they are generating. They are huge. Be well, Stan

Morning Harry, I almost stopped and took a picture of one of the Hutterite colonies. They are self sufficient and have some large complex farms for chickens and livestock. The one I drove by had it's own wind generators, barns, chicken houses, living quarters and equipment sheds. Do not know if they would take a shine to Martin or not.

Thanks Dave, this wind farm has been around for a while. Do not know the true impact on birds and bats. I have heard because of the turbine they use here that the propeller speed is minimal and fairly low impact. Be well, Stan

Thanks Zohre, it was a beautiful early afternoon shot. The wind was blowing and all were turning. Was like entering another world. Thanks for your comment. Be well, Stan

Hi Stan, you've shown the turbines very well! They sure change the prairie landscape, and I'm not too sure about their impact on birds and bats, but you can't argue with the technology and intent of using them. Dave.

Thanks Mitra, I posted this one with the great blue sky and clouds to show off my Big Sky country. The wind farms are so fun to watch and see the planning that went into them. Here is some more of it. Be well my friend, Stan

Thanks Wolf, I passed several wind farms and was in Huterite country for the weekend. Many of the women come to the grocery store in full dress and hat with aprons. The 1/50 was to try to catch some movement.. These turn pretty slow. Be well, Stan

Good morning to you too dear Stan. Remember we the people make these wind power towers thus we should never feel belittled by our creations. It shows the greatness and ingeniouity of mankind. :) I love this photo very much.

Wow, space age in Mt ! I thought the girls were still dressed as Amish. Well, we need to much niagra to keep up with them anyhow so winmills are more interesting ;-) 1/50th sec is just right here Stan !
