Monday is labor day here dear Jen and we say it is the "unofficial" last day of summer since school goes back right after and all the lifeguards are gone from the beaches :( but luckily this week has been beautiful and I am also hopeful that we will have a hot September :)

I always believed that NY was a town of concrete and glass. Everybody would overlook but how do you manage every time to have an eye for all these certainly rare flowers?
Nice composition in lovely color with just a single one put on a pedestal using a DOF approach. Very attractive with much detail.

I can see you have been to classes and I feel you were very relaxed. DOF is excellent here. The blurred large flower below bothers me a bit, might have cut it with a pair of scissors or a higher crop.
OK my dear princsess, otherwise it is a photo by royal standards !
