Well, not as "clever", really. It was too little thinking about what to include and what to leave out. Nit to speak about the rest of the flaws, ey? ;-)
Thanks a lot for the nice comment and also for the information about imagecreative.nl, Fabio!
Well.. excellent it can't be. It was perhaps a good idea but it's physical implementation has too many flaws. In general it is not sufficient to have an idea only. That's piece of cake. Everybody has ideas. But to consiously convert the ideas to real existing expression forms of exactly those ideas, that's the hard part of it and it is named *work*, quite in contrast to the many too many natural born "artists" that never work but only "create".
This image may be as interesting as it can get, but it is definitely not yet at the levels of perfect translation of a creative idea to the carrier of the creative idea, the image. It is not yet at the technical level that allows the name "creative". That's why I am so grateful for any suggestion and comment about how to make it better, like for example from Stan. Or else photography gets trivialized down to "shoot something, anything". Just add the appropriate "suggestive, creative, symbolic, whatever" ingredients and soon you get the label: "Creative". If it only was so easy!
But this is an advantage of UF as long as there are also some few guys that are ready to really think and tell us some hint about what to do different, what to avoid, what to enhance, and so on. This is also the sense of posting this image - rather a question about what is going on.
Thanks a lot for the nice comment and the suggestion Stan! So, let's eliminate! (Attachment)
On the cropped image the flowers/plants at the top... clone them or leave them? Any idea?
Anyway, I used to make much more of this kind of photos but as the time was passing by I started finding them... in a way, "cheap". Many people do that too and find exactly the right rectangle and what to take in the image and what to leave out, but in my case, what can I say, they look "half", don't they? Or they include too much like the top of this image does.
That's why I am very grateful to you since your hint helped to tighten the image.
excellenta abstract composition at its best (I like it especially as it is - without further cropping, but that's personal:)) do you know imagecreative.nl, by chance? that would be a place for you and pictures like this :)
I like the reflection. You did a great job on the capture. Maybe a tighter crop to eliminate top left of picture. I love the texture of the wavelets and the colors. Be well, Stan
