Yes, Andre, and I wonder how it can be that nobody up to now noticed that clear separation. Indeed, it should be a parallel of separating things the photographical way to separating things the real hard way using a fence and diving the worls to freedem and prison. And of course I was very influenced by that kind of journals you refered to. Thank you very much for this insight, of which I can only hope that many others will also read and think about.
Best wishes,
Nick

It seems all about separation in this shot Nick. The wire fence makes such a definite border between the blurred and non blurred parts of the image. I suppose this drives home the theme of the two worlds (prison and freedom) I have seen this kind of effect used in actual photojournalistic prison like situations. (outside the walls versus inside the walls. It works well. Andre

So, perhaps you just find such a net or fence and try it out, Mahassa? I could imagine some very nice luxagraphic work from you if there were also some light behind the net.
But you might laugh, since I already have a small collection that deals with nets and fences! Indeed they can give us many opportunities for good images.
Thanks a lot and best wishes,
Nick

I've always loved to take pictures through one of these nets or fences, but never had the chance, I think it makes a lot of opportunities, nice one, best, mahassa
