I don't know the names of the people in Milano that go home for lunch and a small sleep. But it really seemd that way to me. At about 12:30 there were so many people openeing the doors of their houses that I had to think they go to their people at home.
Anyway, the image is definitely not "+++++++++". I don't know why everybody seems to be eager to say only good things. This one has again troubles of composition. And up to now only Linda refers to them and supports real exchange of minds. More of that please!

Thanks a lot for the nice and detailed comment, Linda! Indeed such images will never really tell somebody where to look. They are rather taking "what is" in the scene in the ideal case. And this is a far less than ideal case since the composition wasn't really OK - I guess I should take more of the street.
It should be much like when you just get out in the streets. Where you look then could be also wher you look in the image. (Perhaps also not look at anything particular.) A main difference to the other extreme that takes one by the hand and says "look this and that", I guess, is that the spectator him/herself decides what to look.

Nick the light is nice, the details are mostly sharp, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing here? Good colors, nice angles in the facades, you did get a lot in the image but what is the subject? It has a very busy and cluttered foreground, and perhaps that is your point with "life restarts after siesta" if so you did a good job with that...all the best!! :) Linda
