About Another very old and very problematic one to me as the grid is just about to disappear due to overexposure. I'd be glad for any ideas about it.

Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Gary.

But is there any distortion here? Or do you mean the apparently not parallel vertical lines?

Cheers!

Hmmm.. I don't find anything interesting on that, Fabio. What is the use of that method? Why not getting a real polaroid camera for that? They can be found very easily for very low prices at second hand stores.

Cheers!

Günaydın Zeynep!

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and even more for the sugegstion. So let's try it. I converted it to B&W and raised the contrast a bit. (Attachment.) As you see the grid doesn't really get much more pronounced - it is not really in the DoF and so raising the contrast can't really enhance ots soft contours anymore. I guess that I had to use a greater DoF (close aperture) and try a bit lower exposure for not overburning the wires with the strong light of the background sky. But nonetheless the B&W seems to have more atmosphere.

Thanks again!

Turned to B&W and raised contrast slightly after Zeynep's idea

Thanks a lot, Aziz!

It was trying to get both the grid and the crane as well as possible, while now I think that there is also some kind of confusion about if the crane is in front or behind the grid. Perhaps this is good, I don't know.

Cheers!

This is well observed Nick. My first thought was that it reminded me of the grid in the lens distortion facility in Photoshop.

Kalispera Nick,
I did like the photo, I don't think it's very problematic, but it is worth wotking on. I would try turning it to B/W and maybe playing with the contrast a little bit. A little more contrast might make the grid more obvious. Best wishes,
Zeynep

The grid has added value to the image.
