Hi Nicole, Yes , it is rain. In fact it was pouring down. I ad my camera set up to take pictures of my Goldfinches and the small birds left in a hurry and this hawk swooped in and stayed for about 5 minutes. I took this through the thermal paine doors so it is not too sharp. BILL
