Hi Todd, Thanks for your comment. These Ford Tri=Motors were the original comercial passenger planes in the whole world. There are still about a dozen of them flying. BILL NAGY

Hi George, Thank you for commenting on myphoto. It really is a classic. The biggest thrill was the two times that I went up for a ride in it. BILL NAGY

Hi Nicole, This plane was in a tornado one time and torn to pieces. It was totally reconstructed by EAA members and now flys on tours all over the country giving people rides. I have been on two flights myself. BILL NAGY

Hi Michele, First of all, this airplane was biuilt by the Ford Motor company in 1929 as the first of its type to be comercial airliners. They built many of them and each would carry 15 passengers. They were used all over North and South America for many years until other companies started to compete with them.. There are still about a dozen of them flying. Now the EAA is the Experimental Aircraft Association which is headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin where they have their own air field which is also a Reginal Air Port. The EAA has an airshow sthere every year where all of there members and visiters from all over the world meet for 1 week for many amatuer aircraft enthusiasts and visitors for workshops and entertainment. They usually have an attendence of 800,000 people and 17,000 airplanes from all over the world. BILL

A very nice image of this BIG plane Bill ...and good details in the depth of the other planes...I am thinking this must be a small airport with private planes as I am not familiar with EAA or OSHKOSH- Best wishes, Michele~
