An excellent command of the eye. The wind-shaped trees offer angles which the family completes. Well shot.

Look whos here ! Hi Mohammad Nice to see you again. Thanks for stopping by, viewing and writing. This one was actually a very quick shot, I was walking with my friend when I suddenly say these plants and the idea of taking such a picture came to my mind.. I ran and had very little time to take the picture because they were reaching anyway I framed the composition I had in mind and pressed the shuter.. Not much thought :)) I am very busy these days and don't have much time for goin out shooting so I have to upload some of my old ones !
Thanks again for stopping by and writing, I highly appreciate it,

My very best,
aLi

Not a bad one dear aLi,
But not as good as your previous great works anyway.
Too fast shutter speed I think + ISO-100= Very strange desert shot.
But as a Form, I like the formation of feeling the wind by bended plants.
And much more, I give up...
Mohammad

Dear Ruxandra, Thaks for the reply, well you are right to have a larger DOF you will need a greater aperture value but a smaller aperture has a a higher value. that means the for example 2.8 could be a lenses widest aperture while the smallest aperture has a value of 32 !!
I've got a copy of that CD too.. great songs from irans most well known poets !

My very best wishes from Iran,
aLi

Dear Ali,
Question, because I'm a beginner..To bring them out of the "spot" don't we need a greater aperture value, in order to have a larger DOF?
Thank you also for you comments on my pictures!
All the best!
Ruxa
P.S by the way one of my favorites CD is Music of Persian mystics/ Mowlana Rumi, Hafiz, Saadi, Shafii Katkani...

Rumi: " I am wind and you are fire!"..

Hi dear Ruxandra, Thanks for your nice comment< I'm truely glad you liked my shot.. Maybe your right.. even a smaller aperture might have helped bring these men out of the "spots" but I don't know why I took it this way. anyway thanks again for stopping by and writing,

My very best wishes,
aLi

Something drives me always back to your picture..I reanalze it again, i discover new things, i have always another mood when i see it....
I would have preferred if there was a better contrast by the men, not to have the feeling of spots...
All the best!

This composition is perfect. The isolation and the twisted trees make this a very powerful image. Welldone. CC

Thanks for the good comment dear Mirek, This isn't actually a music cd cover, but I guess it really does look like some. I think there is much unknown about Iran and Iranians all over the world, I don't know what you guys hear about us but whenever I travel to a foreign country noone belives that me and my friends are Iranians .. anyways, thanks again for the comment, I'm glad you liked this shot and highly appreciate your comment.

My very best regards,
aLi

It looks like a cover for a music band CD. Great depht of field for
a 3.5 apperture and Your composition is wonderful too. The four people walking on the dunes make the picture aggressive or better say dynamic and the bushes on the right, twisted the way they are, deliver a viewer attention to the right place. Your picture shows us the Iranian youth in a way unknown here in the States. Maybe You should post more images like this. Congratulations!
