Hi Sheldon and thanks for your comment .. well the answer to your question is no .. I don't usually use that feature cause I like to see the frame I'm capturing just before pressing the shutter .. who knows what might happen in that millisecond !!

I prefer this to the tighter shot. More interesting foreground details. It looks like an oil painting (maybe a little softness in the Tamron?). I would have preferred a little late afternoon sun on the water, that may be for a future shot! Great job, love the low angle.

Hi M G .. and thanks for all your very nice comments .. well I took a couple of the shots from my water series to the photography class I go to .. and my prof. chose this one too .. and till now everyone from usefilm has said the same ... but I think I like the other one better myself .. I like this one better aLi. the water is soft and dynamic, the spash of color in the trees across the stream and in the stream is very nice! i like the flow of water across the frame.
however, the branch in the lower left corner does seem to pull my eye towards it.

I like water shoots. Very nice exposure. I like your choice of background elements: very clean and free of distraction. I usually like to shoot such scenes from differing perspectives. Do you have any others of this scene? Also, I like how you've added the exposure detail in your comments. Good work.

Strong compostion Ali. The exposure is long enough to render the water well. Maybe a slight darkening of the top corners would help balance the overall effect. Thanks for your recent comments on my work. Regards John
