Summer ended last week here on thesouth hemisphere. I find this image captures the mood of an ending summer thanks to its light and people enjoying the last moments of a day on the beach.
This image was shot years ago with my Pentax 280P, a point-and-shoot that never stops to surprise me with its quality. It's almost 13 years old but now, that I'm re-scanning my photos to a new standard size - 30 x 20 cm @300 DPI - it's impressive to see the amount of detail this camera's lens capture. It even surpasses two Canon lens I had! Impressive. I always loved this compact camera.
