About Brazil, Bahia, to the left, the Atlantic to the front and Ilha de Comandatuba to the right.

Going to a photo location for a resort advertising campaign.

This montage was used to give a better sense of its dimension. But nothing compares to the real thing, for sure...

The film used - Kodak Ektar 25 - was one of my preferred for the amazing color saturation and absolute lack of grain. Unfortunately, and like many other Kodak Films, it was discontinued... A mistake.

Oi Carmem,

obrigado pelo comentário. Você conhece o trabalho fotográfico do David Hockney?

No contato fotográfico.

Hi Q Zhang!

Well, that's a real point, the one you've mentioned... But on the other hand there's always a substitute - Velvia, for example. And with film you also get different textures, bigger enlarging sizes, grains, colors and many other things. Of course, at a co$t...

Maybe that's digital's greatest advantage.

Sorry Jose, but I must point out that with digital cameras they can never discontinue your "film". :-) Now if they can just get the CCD colours to saturate....

Bom dia!
