Totally agree Mary . . . and that's why I don't do it. A second unfocused in Photography, particularly digital photography, is something I can handle and usually the pain is only the slight grimace when I view the raw image! LoL! I can live with that!

This is really interesting. I'm glad I saw this as I didn't know about this method. Boy, those guys have to be so careful. This looks like dangerous work. All it would take is a second of not being focused and someone could get hurt. Great image.

What a wonderful collection of shots you have acquired for this exciting new project my dear Doyle. This is an amazing shot that fully demonstrates the initial process very well. Thanks Phillip . . . suprisingly . . . the bursts of flame from the cherrywood mold were intermittent . . . but the capture of it gave the added Oooooomph! to the shot, IMO!

This technique looks very interesting! A very informative photo from a rustic glassworkshop.
I know this sounds crazy, but yesterday I had a feeling that you and Marlyce had gone to such a place to take shots. It“s easily for me to say now obviously, but I was rather sure of it and was amazed when seing your photos today!
