You've prompted me to take a stroll through YOUR past...
I'm so sorry I missed this one, but I'm here now! It is all about the lines...vertical in their legs, rifles, stripes and the white/gray so cleverly repeated in the frame....the horizontal in the sidewalk, curb, road stripes, and again the frame (it was intentional right?). And let's not forget to mention the exceptional clarity and color! Oh yes, the pride comes though...truly an excellent image Doyle.
Thanks for strolling through mine!
Take care...Robin
No rates?...let me be the first to give you a big 'ole SEVEN.

Oh my Gosh! Family History??? My wife is President of the South Bay Cities Genealogical Society . . . and I'm the Editor-in-chief of The Beacon, a genealogical newsletter they publish! We've done genealogy for years. I published a book, The Chastain Family of California and TOTALLY relate to how time consuming this stuff is (not to mention addictive). Thanks for your comment.

Hi Doyle. Sorry I haven't commented lately, I've been caught up in researching my family history. It's been very interesting! I really like this creative shot. The crop, alignment of the soldiers, and the yellow line all work so well together. Great job my friend!

Well taken. It does evoke a sense of..well...something...call it patriotism, pride, or what you will. Hard to describe but it's very pleasant to view.
Well done! J
