Glad that you like it.. I also like it for the same reasons you stated. As to the slight tilt, I think the image is straight but it does look tilted probably due to the lighting, shadows, and that some of the buildings were actually tilted. I might have to modify the image to make it look straight to the eyes.

Man,oh man do i love this shot,Paul!...i just keep staring at it and imagining that it is a still from a cool foreign film of intrigue...the blurred face person lends more mystery and the black n' white points/tonal range are to die for!..i feel a slight tilt,but perhaps just the wide angle effect,right?...like the depth and especially like that small shadow in the doorway...amazing how one small detail can have such an impact on an image...
