Excellent shot! Autumn is my favourite season because of the colours. Perfect reflection. You could have cropped just by the reflection point to divide this in two photos because the "original" and the reflection are so beautiful!

Wow, I like the duplicity here Paul, very interesting! The autumn colors are beautiful, and the reflections on the water are awesome. I like the bare trees beautifully reflected in the still water in the foreground contrasted with the trees in full Autumn colors in the background..The harmony of all these elements is incredible.. amazing composition....:):)Linda

Thanks for your comment.. I did try it without the sky which did look good.. guess I just wanted to keep the top branches of the tree on the left...cropping the sky did "tighten" up the image a bit which probably helps.

Thanks Craig.. not sure if you think I rotated the image or not but there was no rotation, no ps work at all.. the reflection does make it look upside down which is the intent of the image.. :)

Thanks Thilo.. i was debating about cropping that portion out of the image but thought it would take too much of the trees..
I usually don't put frames around my images..I realize that when the there is white or light colors on the edges a frame can help but I usually keep it the way it is in the camera :) :)

the reflections make this image, that's for sure. awesome detail and colors. minor thing is the upper left area with the small blown-out spot. Personally, I would add a light frame around the image.
